Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be available at the Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad in Oakland on May 1st from 3 pm – 6 pm to provide free Car Seat Checks to the public. Technicians will complete a checklist and assist parents and caregivers to learn how to install their child’s car seat.
“We are excited to have this opportunity available!” said Maria Friend, Early Care Programs Director, “All parents can benefit from professional installation assistance to be sure their child’s car seat is properly installed!”
Appointments are preferred. Drive-ups will be accepted if time allows. To register, visit garretthealth.org or call Early Care Programs at 301-334-7720 for registration assistance.
