Safe Sleep Program

A safe sleep environment is essential to ensure a child’s safety and plays a huge role in reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Early Care Programs offers the Safe Sleep Program in which families facing homelessness or housing instability may obtain a pack-n-play for their infant to ensure the availability of a safe sleep space. Staff is able to support families through education related to safe sleep, ensuring that caregivers have a greater understanding of a safe sleep environment, and that they know the importance of providing that environment to the infant.
