Overdose Response Program

Staff from Health Education and Outreach provide education about drugs that cause overdose, recognizing and responding to an overdose, and tips to prevent an overdose. Naloxone, a medication that is used to reverse an opioid overdose is provided at no cost to the participant. This program is fitting for people who may accidentally overdose, persons who could be in the presence of someone who overdoses, or persons wanting to participate because of their job or volunteer work. This program is funded through the Maryland Department of Health and SAMHSA.
