Lead Case Management

The Garrett County Health Department Lead Case Management Program provides information to the community and families to help reduce lead exposure in children. The Lead Case Manager will work closely with families and health care providers to ensure child lead testing is completed at accurate times and to educate on and advocate for measures to be taken to reduce elevated blood lead levels in children.

The program involves coordinating, providing and overseeing the services that are needed to help reduce lead levels to a normal, safe range.

The Lead Case Management Program can help you identify potential lead hazards, provide education on developmental milestones and screening, provide education and tips for keeping your home lead-free, etc.
