Garrett County Behavioral Health, a division of the Garrett County Health Department, is hiring clinicians. Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OHMC) provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy services to children, adolescents and adults throughout Garrett County. We are currently seeking skilled clinicians to provide services to Garrett County residents seeking behavioral health treatment.
Eligible clinicians must possess an active social work or counseling license in the state of Maryland (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW or LCSW-C). Experience providing counseling services is preferred, but not required. We have multiple opportunities with office locations in Oakland and Grantsville, as well as a school-based program that serves clients in Garrett County Public Schools. There are full-time, part-time or independent contractor positions available.

This full time contractual position will support individuals with behavioral challenges within the community, and will be responsible for contributing to the oversight and support of a statewide regional behavioral support system in Maryland. This position, under the guidance of the State Coordinator of Clinical Services, he or she will work with the Regional DDA Office staff, to provide oversight and technical assistance regarding assessment of service needs in behavior supports. This position will have knowledge and skills in direct clinical experience serving children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and co-occurring behavioral health challenges. This position must be a Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) in good standing with the State of Maryland
