2024 MDE Annual Sand Mound and At Grade Installer Certification and Renewal Courses Announced + Information From the Garrett County Health Department's Environmental Health Services Unit

Contractors installing sewage disposal systems in the State of Maryland are required to be registered with the State Board of On-Site Wastewater Professionals. The registration application can be found on the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) website or by contacting Garrett County Environmental Health. Contractors who are also interested in or have previously installed at-grade or sand mound sewage disposal systems must attend the required MDE training to be certified to do so. Attached are the courses to become certified or to renew registration. These courses are only offered once a year and have limited registration.
