The Garrett County Health Department expects to receive additional shipments of the BinaxNOW COVID-19 test kits about every two weeks. The Maryland Department of Health is allocating kits to counties based on the county population. Additional free test kits will be given to the libraries as soon as available. Similar at-home kits are also available for purchase at most local pharmacies while supplies last. Costs vary depending on location.
