A public forum is scheduled regarding the Maryland Workgroup on Newborn Home Visiting Services (Senate Bill 156 / House Bill 334).

The Workgroup is charged with undertaking a landscape analysis to understand the breadth of newborn home visiting in Maryland, identify the service gaps, and consider approaches to expansion, financing, and workforce needs.
A report highlighting findings and recommendations is due to the Governor and General Assembly by December 31, 2025.
