ACCOUNTANT I
This position will assist in performing the fiscal functions of the Garrett County Health Department as well as the Behavioral Health Authority & Local Management Board of Garrett County, including processing and reporting financial status to ensure the sound fiscal operation of the agency; includes preparation, monitoring, and auditing of contracts with sub-vendors for compliance with State and Federal MOUs, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting expenditures in all applicable systems. This position also serves as backup for performing fiscal duties for the Accountant Supervisor, specifically invoice and journal entry processing.
