Welcome to GoGarrettCounty.com, a new county-wide wellbeing program championed by the Garrett County Health Department – in partnership with Garrett County Health Planning Council – that is designed to highlight local businesses and community resources that help keep us healthy & safe as we navigate this unprecedented time.
While this year has been filled with loss, stress, and worry. We are ending it with a hopeful new way to support healthy lifestyles and our local economy.
Go! Garrett County (gogarrettcounty.com), launching December 15, 2020, and rolling out through January 2021, supports local businesses and community resources by offering participation points for watching videos from locals and reading articles that help us take good care of ourselves, our families, and our neighbors.
Many of the prizes have been purchased from local businesses to support Garrett County. If you know of other businesses or community resources (formal or informal) that would like to share their information please have them reach out to [email protected] to be featured in this new program. It’s open to everyone thirteen years and older across the health spectrum. The program features everything from our leading chronic disease management programs at GRMC & Mountain Laurel Medical Center to staying active with bicycle groups from around the county.
