Current Recommendations From The Garrett County Medical Deputy Health Officer

  • As you gather in the coming months, be sure to protect the most vulnerable (the oldest, youngest, and those with chronic disease in your family).
  • Make sure you and your most vulnerable family members receive influenza vaccine and COVID-19 booster.
  • Wash hands often, and mask if you’re spending time with someone who is ill with a respiratory infection.
  • If you’re too sick, stay home, but consider masking if you’re on the fence, to protect others who are more vulnerable.
