Garrett County Health & Wellness Fair Scheduled for April 5, 2025

The Garrett County Steps to Better Health Committee (STEPS) has announced Saturday, April 5th, as the date for the next Garrett County Health & Wellness Fair. The 2025 event will take place at the CARC (Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex) at Garrett College in McHenry from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The Health & Wellness Fair is a free community event designed to increase health awareness and promote health-oriented resources for all ages.  

“The Garrett County Health & Wellness Fair is a wonderful way to put the health of yourself and your family at the top of your list of priorities,” said Garrett County Health Officer Jennifer Hare, CPA. “There will be something for everyone, so make it a family event. Bring your kids, your grandkids, and learn about what’s available in Garrett County.”

The Health & Wellness Fair will include informational booths, free health screenings, door prizes, and many other giveaways. Like Garrett County Health Fair on Facebook or visit GarrettCountyHealthFair.com for up-to-date information or to register as a vendor or sponsor. 

The event is free to all participants and supported by generous sponsors, including WVU Medicine Garrett Regional Medical Center, Garrett County Health Department, Maryland Physicians Care, Garrett County Community Resource Team (CRT), AHEC West, Garrett County WIC, and many others listed on the Garrett County Health Fair website.

The Garrett County STEPS Committee is composed of local businesses, public agencies, and private citizens who desire to improve the community’s overall wellness.
