A big thank you from the Garrett County Health Planning Council to the nearly 1,000 county residents who participated in the Community Needs Assessment process by attending planning meetings, completing surveys, and participating in focus groups!
The four major focus areas identified by the assessment are:
- Chronic Diseases and their Common Risk Factors including: Nutrition, Physical Activity and Tobacco
- Behavioral Health: Mental Health and Substance Abuse
- Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health
- Access to Care & Linkages to Community Resources
