Breastfeeding Classes

Breastfeeding classes are held monthly, at no cost, by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).   Breastfeeding is a special gift that only YOU can give your baby.  Almost all mothers can nurse their babies if they have help and know what to expect.

Services are provided prenatally and while the infant is breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is encouraged because of its benefits to the infant, mother and society. Infants who are breastfed are less likely to develop health-related complications and require fewer hospitalizations.

All of our educators also provide lactation consultation services.  They provide assistance with latching, sore nipples, milk supply, breastfeeding positions, and other breastfeeding problems.
