Update from Garrett County Health Department: There are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Garrett or Allegany County as of Tuesday, March 17 at 10 AM. There are 57 confirmed cases in Maryland, with the nearest cases in Frederick County. There are also confirmed cases in Washington County, Pennsylvania. This is an ever-changing situation and we will continue to do daily updates. It is important to notify your doctor if you develop fever, shortness of breath or upper respiratory symptoms AND have traveled to a location where there are confirmed cases.
