This is an invitation to bid on a Bay Restoration Funded sewage disposal system located at 422 Does Run Rd. The contractor must be Maryland Department of the Environment board certified and have completed the Maryland Department of the Environment BAT installation course.

The bid should be for the installation of 250’ of 2’ wide septic drainfield and approximately 550’ of 2 inch SCH 40 pressure line. See attached site plan. Pressure line installation must be backfilled utilizing clean on-site fill or a fine crushed stone if fill is not available on-site. The contractor is responsible for calling Miss Utility to have utilities located and marked prior to starting the project. After the system has been inspected by the Garrett County Health Department the contractor must properly cover and seed and mulch the area.

The contractor awarded the bid for the drainfield and pressure line will also be required to install tanks which will consist of a Norweco Singulair TNT and 500 gallon pump chamber and pump. The tanks will be provided by Back River Precast. The contractor will be subcontracted by Back River Precast for payment of the installation of the Norweco TNT and pump chamber.
