At this time, the FDA has approved Comirnaty, the COVID-19 vaccine known as Pfizer-BioNTech, for individuals aged 16 years and older. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine continues to have emergency use authorization from the FDA for children 12-15 years old and as an additional dose for certain immunocompromised individuals.
