Garrett County students from southern end elementary schools who were awarded medals for their accomplishments in the Play Hard, Live Clean campaign were recognized at halftime of the first home football game for the Southern Rams. Any student who completed one or more physical activity, healthy eating, or reduced screen time challenges was awarded either a bronze, silver, or gold medal. By wearing their medal to the football game, each student was given free admission. Play Hard, Live Clean is a healthy lifestyle campaign for students in grades pre-k through 12, and is sponsored by the Garrett County Health Department and the Garrett County Public Schools.
