Oakland National Night Out On Tuesday, August 6th
A National Night Out 2019 Celebration will take place at the Oakland Town Pavilion tonight from 6. β 9 p.m. Designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, officers from the Garrett County Sheriffβs Office, Maryland State Police, Oakland Police, and Natural Resources Police will be present to lead the fun and be part of the community. Southern Rescue Squad and Oakland Fire Department will also be in attendance.
Purchasing a $1 wristband at the registration table will give you access to everything: carnival-type games, food, and an 8 p.m. performance by the acoustic duo of Janice Ray and John Hinebaugh. Please bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music. Oaklandβs National Night Out is brought to you by Club 21550 Community Planning Group and is supported by donations from Town of Oakland, and the Fraternal Order of Police, and is partially funded by MDH and SAMHSA.
