Office Clerk Assistant – Recruitment #20-001373-0002 – The Garrett County Health Department is seeking a full-time contractual Office Clerk Assistant for the Behavioral Health Department. An Office Clerk Assistant is entry level work performing clerical duties which are clear-cut and typically found in office settings such as filing, photocopying, scanning, posting data, stamping and sorting mail and other materials and directing telephone calls and visitors. This position serves as a receptionist for the Behavioral Health Clinic, including maintaining medical records, database, and processing the release of information forms. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 11:30 am to 8:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Completion of the eighth grade.
Experience: None
Note: Experience performing clerical duties may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education
Rate: Salary $11.58 to $14.70 per hour depending on experience. Contractual employees may be eligible for benefits.
