ACCOUNTANT I
This position will assist in performing the fiscal functions of the Garrett County Health Department as well as the Behavioral Health Authority & Local Management Board of Garrett County, including processing and reporting financial status to ensure the sound fiscal operation of the agency; includes preparation, monitoring, and auditing of contracts with sub-vendors for compliance with State and Federal MOUs, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting expenditures in all applicable systems. This position also serves as backup for performing fiscal duties for the Accountant Supervisor, specifically invoice and journal entry processing.

Early Care Program Home Visitor / FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER I
The main main purpose of this position is to assist the Garrett County Health Department in the mission of promoting, protecting, and improving the health of the county citizens. The position provides in-home support services through intensive home visiting to pregnant women and children up to five years of age under the Healthy Families America home visiting program(s) to improve birth outcomes, strengthen families, cultivate nurturing parent child relationships, promote child health and developmental outcomes, promote family stability, build foundations for strong family functioning, and promote positive parenting practices. Services enable individuals to maintain independence and well-being, assist in preserving the family structure, promote functional home environments, and teach clients how to access and utilize available community resources. The position, with guidance from the program supervisor, works to improve parenting skills, reduce family stress and meet the ongoing needs of the family unit to achieve optimal functioning. The position will promote family and child health through education and referral. The position will collaborate with other health professionals and community agencies to support families and children’s optimal health, nutrition, safety, and development. The Family Support Worker I takes into account each family’s unique strengths and needs. The home visitor will be provided with weekly reflective supervision sessions from the Early Care Programs Supervisor to promote continued growth with the program.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT II
The main purpose of this full-time contractual position will be to assist and aid patients/clients to recover, improve and maintain the skills needed to perform activities of daily living and working. This position is directly involved in providing therapies to patients/clients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and a Home Health Nurse Supervisor or Director.
