COORDINATOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS HEALTH SERVICES I
This full time contractual position will work with the immediate supervisor and assigned staff in Allegany and Garrett County Local Behavioral Health Authority/Local Management Board/Health Department to implement a local interagency service delivery system for children, youth and families through coordinated efforts to achieve designated Performance Measures established locally and/or state-wide. This position will work closely with the CSP II and III for this project. Assist in developing and participating performance measures related to Community Health Resources Commission Service and Supports. Utilize data and share programmatic reports for services completed by service entities in Allegany and Garrett County to the Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC); Allegany County Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA)and Local Management Board (LMB); Garrett County LBHA/LMB; Behavioral Health/Education Task Force; Allegany and Garrett County Board of Education. Incorporate behavioral health services and support in the development of prioritized areas for future planning needs. Be responsible for updating progress on the implementation of services in the Allegany and Garrett County Public School System during designated community meetings. This position is also tasked with making recommendations for maximum utilization of existing services as well as for expanded services.

Has responsibility for resource development functions at the county system level in collaboration with the Allegany and Garrett County Public School System and Service Providers (Spokes) in order to affect expansion of and/or enhanced delivery of services. Completion of needs assessment oversight, asset mapping oversight, and data collection will be required. Development of contract/MOUs/legal documents will be a primary responsibility.

Admin Officer II
The main purpose of this full-time position will be to supervise the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Coordinators/Specialists and other program coordinators implementing the work of alcohol and other drug abuse prevention. This position will oversee the development, coordination and implementation of prevention programs and activities as outlined in agency prevention grants. It will be a requirement that this position monitor all aspects of data collections to increase community awareness and ensure that prevention grant funds are utilized in areas where the need is the greatest. This position will also guide the prevention team in all educational programs, strategies, and activities. In addition, the selected candidate will: Learn about government laws and policies to educate and/or encourage community behavioral change. Prepare and oversee all grant submissions and administrative reporting will be a function of this job. Understand training needs for staff development and offer opportunities for improvement. Please note: Budget development, financial oversight and analysis will be required skills.
