Is your child up to date on lead testing. All children should be tested at 12 and 24 months of age. A blood lead test is the best way to know if your child has been exposed. Lead exposure can have long-term effects on the growth and development of children. Call the Garrett County Health Department’s Early Care Programs at 301-334-7720 or 301-895-3111 to speak with our Lead Case Management Nurse, Katie Welch.
