Kristen Evans Chosen as Health Department Employee of the Quarter

Kristen Evans has been selected as Employee of the Quarter at the Garrett County Health Department. As a counselor in the Behavioral Health division, Kristen was nominated because she takes initiative to seek out opportunities to serve both her clients and the organization. She participates in committees that focus on customer care and satisfaction as well as quality improvement. Even though Kristen consistently has a full schedule, she takes on additional duties to help others when needed. She is well loved by clients and coworkers alike and her empathy, compassion, and genuineness permeate her interactions with clients and coworkers. “Kristen is wonderful to work with,” said her coworker. “She always has a quick smile and a kind, caring heart.”
