Just Like You! Promotes Positive Role Modeling

The Garrett County Health Department’s Just Like You! Program reminds all adults that little eyes are always watching what you do, ready to imitate the good…and the bad. Be a positive role model for all those little eyes.

This month’s video is a reminder that positive role modeling is woven into everything adults do while kids are watching. Model healthy eating and exercise. Safely secure children in their car seats, make sure everyone, including adults, are using their seatbelts correctly. It’s flu season, so wash hands often, sneeze into sleeve, and throw away used tissues. It’s Christmas time, so spend time reading to, and with, your child, playing in the snow with them, and instilling the giving spirit by helping those in need.
