MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TRANSPORTATION FOR QUALIFIED GARRETT COUNTY
PARTICIPANTS-NON EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES IFB #24-0812A

The Garrett County Health Department will accept sealed Bids from qualified Bidders to provide non-emergency ambulance transportation services for all Garrett County residents who are actively enrolled in full benefit Medicaid and are qualified for Medical Assistance transportation through a grant from the Maryland Department of Health.  The Bidder must be able to provide transportation services for all Garrett County residents who are eligible and qualified for Medical Assistance transportation, for non-emergency ambulance transport.  Bidders may bid on any services at their discretion, such as, hospital discharges, medical appointments or all ambulance transports.  Services are required for non-emergency transports to sites including physician/dental offices, laboratories, outpatient clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and other medical facilities or destinations for the purpose of accessing a Medicaid covered service.

Bid documents may be obtained in-person from the Garrett County Health Department, Administration Department, 1025 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550.  A copy of the bid documents can also be downloaded from the Garrett County Health Department’s website at: https://garretthealth.org/requestforproposals/.  Please refer to the Attachment and Forms section on the website to download applicable attachments.  Inquiries may be made by calling (240) 226-0022.

 All Bids must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “Medical Assistance Transportation For Qualified Garrett County Participants-Non Emergency Ambulance Services” and be submitted to the Garrett County Health Department, Administration Department, 1025 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD 21550 on or before August 12, 2024 @ 9:00AM EST.  Public Bid openings will be Monday, August 12, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST.  Any bids received after the time due will not be considered and shall be retained as documentation for the procurement file.

The Garrett County Health Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this Invitation For Bids and waive technicalities in any part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the Garrett County Health Department.
