Glow Party Draws Garrett County Teens

More than 90 Garrett County middle and high school youth attended a Teen Night Glow Party held by Club 21550 Community Planning Group at the Oakland Community Center (The Armory) recently. Pictured above are a few participants at the event, which included a glow room, games, music, inflatables, crafts, and refreshments. Local Woodmen of the World Lodge #11 provided financial support for the event and Dalton’s DJ Service donated his time. “It was the best attendance in the 6 years of offering this event,” said a club member. Activities of community planning groups are supported in part by funds from the Garrett County Health Department to promote healthy living and prevent risky behaviors.
