The Garrett County Health Department has openings available in their TOPS weight-loss support group. TOPS – Taking Off Pounds Sensibly – meets each Wednesday from 4-5:15 p.m. at the GCHD office in Oakland. Call 301-334-7730 to find out more or to sign up. TOPS, a nonprofit, noncommercial weight-loss support organization, encourages members to make small, steady lifestyle changes that provide lasting weight loss and better health.
