Dr. Stephen Bayuk to Present at Health Fair
Stephen Bayuk, D.O., a board eligible General Surgeon who specializes in Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery, will attempt to answer all the questions people have about colonoscopies at the 2017 Garrett County Health Fair and Fun Festival on April 8th. Topics include: when to have a colonoscopy, decreasing fear, benefits and risks, what to expect, what findings and results mean, and the improved preparation. Dr. Bayuk joined Dr. Charles Walch and Dr. Marjorie Fridkin in August 2011, and is a member of the medical staff at Garrett Regional Medical Center. After completion of his undergraduate training at the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, he attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA, and received a D.O. degree. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Bayuk completed his five year surgical residency at UPMC in Farrell, PA. The Garrett County Health Fair and Family Fun Festival will be held on Saturday, April 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the CARC (Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex) at Garrett College in McHenry.
