Childbirth classes helps you prepare for the birth of your child. You will learn techniques to help you while in labor and make decisions for your birth plan. Our class will also cover postpartum and newborn care.
We offer FREE classes each month, rotating Wednesdays and Saturdays. Wednesday classes are conducted over two back-to-back weeks; Saturdays is one, all-day class. Both options include, when possible, a tour of the Garrett Regional Medical Center’s Obstetrical Unit.

One Day Saturday Classes: 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

• December 5th
Classes include a hospital tour when possible. Class dates are subject to change.

Classes are held at the Garrett County Health Department – 1st Floor Main Entrance, Conference Rooms A & B, 1025 Memorial Drive, Oakland, MD
Food and drink are allowed during class. Please bring two pillows, a blanket, and your support person.
