Baby carriers can be useful in keeping your little one close while also being essentially hands-free. It’s vital, though to that we all practice safe babywearing. Check out the TICKS guidelines for safe babywearing to be sure you can check all of the boxes the next time you and baby strap in! Also be sure to check the owner’s manual on your baby carrier for any specific guidelines or height and weight requirements. For any questions on child safety, please call Lacy Coffren in Early Care Programs at the Garrett County Health Department. 301-334-7720 or 301-895-3111.
