Accident Fishing Rodeo Draws a Crowd

The Accident Community Planning Group combined forces with the National Wild Turkey Federation to sponsor a Fishing Rodeo at the Accident Town Pond on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Participants included 53 children and 39 adults. Fishing groups spread out around the pond, while volunteers monitored the event for safety and shared the educational message. Nearly 20 adults signed pledges agreeing to NOT provide alcohol to underage youth. Shown are various pictures of participants at the fishing rodeo. Additional sponsors of the event were Auto Land of Accident, Archie’s Barbeque, Fratz True Value, Feed Store, Mobile/Modular Home Sales and Campers, GW Lumber, Inc., Hartman’s Accident Liberty, Humbert Sanitation, LLC, Insta Memories PhotoBooth Rental, 7-Eleven, Schoolhouse Earth, Steve Brown, Town of Accident, and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
