Parents Matter! Class Scheduled
A Parents Matter! class is being offered at Garrett County Health Department on Saturday, April 22 & 29, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Parents Matter! is a 12.5 hour evidence-based intervention for parents of pre-adolescent youth.Β This free program is designed to increase parentsβ awareness of the need to be the sex educators for their children, as well as to provide opportunities for parents to build positive parenting skills. Lunch will be provided.
Parents who sign up and attend both days of the class will receive a $25 voucher to either Oakland Shop Nβ Save or Oakland Farmers Market
