From the Maryland Commission on Public Health:

This week’s workgroup spotlight is the Communication and Public Engagement Workgroup. They’re dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between public health officials and our community by:
๐ฃ๏ธ Amplifying public voices: Whether through town halls, surveys, or direct outreach, this workgroup is making sure diverse perspectives are heard and valued.
๐ก Informing and inspiring: Clear, accessible information helps build trust and empowers communities to make informed decisions for their health and well-being.
๐ค Collaborating for change: Engaging community partners, local organizations, and advocacy groups to co-create sustainable solutions that truly meet the needs of those we serve.
By listening, learning, and working together, we can tackle the challenges that impact public health and build a healthier futureโone conversation at a time.
(P.S. That’s why this workgroup has built a survey for YOU. Check it out at bit.ly/mdpublichealthcomms.)
