Drowning is a leading cause of death in infants. We must do what we can to combat this statistic and keep children safe in the water. We aren’t just at risk when we go to the beach or the pool, though. Most prevention actually starts at home. Did you know that nearly 70% of childhood drownings occur during non-swim times? Check out these quick tips on Infant Water Safety and reach out to Early Care Programs with any questions you have regarding keeping your little ones safe! You may reach the office at 301-334-7720. Let’s do our part to make this summer a safe and fun one!
