The Center for Harm Reduction Services and the Behavioral Health Administration have developed several resources to help increase awareness regarding xylazine. You can visit the new xylazine page https://beforeitstoolate.maryland.gov/xylazine/ to learn more.

Xylazine Information for the General Public

Includes foundational language which describes what xylazine is, how naloxone interacts with it, directions to continue to use naloxone in the event of an overdose, and highlights the Good Samaritan Law.
