Donation Supports Partners After School Summer Programs

Jun 8, 2017 | Press Releases

A donation from GCC Technologies, LLC, has made it possible to continue programming through the Partners After School (PAS) summer programs.  Enhancement activities include STEM, literacy, health and wellness activities and more.  Over a course of a year approximately 100 Garrett County students in grades K-8 attend the after school programs. Partners after School programs serve children in the Accident, Grantsville, and Oakland.  Pictured from left are James Michaels, PAS @ Oakland Program Director; DeAnna Murphy, PMP, Facilities Manager, GCC Technologies; Lee Ann Moreau, PAS @ Accident Program Assistant; Teresa Friend, Program Coordinator, LMB.  Programs are provided by the Garrett County Local Management Board (LMB), Garrett County Commissioners, Governor’s Office for Children, United Way of Garrett County, MSDE, and the 21st Century CLC.
