Child Safety Seat Check

The safety of children in car seats depends on correct fit as well as correct installation. The Garrett County Health Department will hold a child safety seat check on Friday, May 12th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Southern Rescue Squad at 200 Baltimore Avenue in Oakland. Trained personnel will check child seats for correct installation, possible recalls, and the appropriateness of the seat for the child’s age and size.
